Its almost the end of August already. I can't believe it! Today was officially my first day of college classes. Man, did I love it. It only took me a matter of hours to meet new friends, make connections, and realize that this is absolutely where I want to be spending the next year of my life. Maybe even the next four.
Now, living in northern Ohio makes dressing for classes very tricky. When I wake up in the mornings all I want to wear is a chunky knit sweater and jeggings, but by noon I'm wishing I had worn a flowy summer dress. So for now, I'm straddling that line.
The college I attend does happen to have one of the
best fashion schools in the country, but most students still wear soffe shorts and a tee shirt to class. Jeans and Ugg's if they are feeling fancy. I obviously stand out with my fancy outfits and heels, but I couldn't care less. I'm sure if you read this blog you know exactly what I'm talking about. :) I love the soft feminine color of this shirt juxtaposed with the utilitarian feel of the pockets. It was love at first sight when I saw this shirt and I don't think I even looked at the price tag. Mixed with my softest, most comfy jeans and chic flats (which are lined with cheetah print) this is an ideal outfit for walking around campus and still looking put together.
