The Big Move!

Hello amazing readers! Today I've come to you with some exciting news.
I've moved and given my blog a new name!
For a few months now I have struggled with keeping on top of this blog. I love doing outfit posts, but between my evolving style, the weather in Ohio and some other things I wasn't able to give STUDYING IN HEELS the love it needed.
My new blog is going to still have fashion and outfit posts, but other things too. Food, makeup, whatever happens to be inspiring me at the moment.
I would love for you all to check it out! And of course, my blogging is as much for you as it is for me. So if you have any ideas or posts that you would love to see, send me an email at cassiedulworth@hotmail.com.
I love hearing from each and everyone of you! And I look forward to seeing you on the other side!

I'm Addicted.

I love campaign videos. They really lend to feeling what a brand is about. Also, Daphne Groenveld is my absolute favorite model. Isn't she amazing?!

Lana del Rey.

Her pouty lips, perfectly shaped eyebrows, "I-will-do-what-I-want" attitude and sultry voice are pulling me in. I'm having a Lana moment. But then again who isn't?

Back to the Classics.

With all of the bright colors this spring, sometimes I need to take a break and get back to my favorite palette: black and white. These photos have me dreaming of simple days and I would give anything to be lying on a beach somewhere in the sun.

Tangerine.

Around the blogging community lately, and in fashion in general, I've seen a bright color start to steal the spotlight: tangerine! We all know that mint is possibly the biggest color this spring/summer but don't ignore the other amazing colors. Tangerine is one of my favorite brights and I've found some inspiration here as well as some amazing option that you should go out and purchase today. I promise you will not regret it!

Clean Slate.

Interior design is only something that I've grown an interest for in the past few months. From finding a few amazing interior blogs I've been exposed and I have to say...I'm hooked. In my mind interior design and fashion are so related that it seems natural for me to want to style houses just as much as i want to style people. Completely white palettes are my favorite for the crisp sophistication and these bedrooms are making me swoon.
How amazing is this build in bed?!

Alexander McQueen.

"I was thinking about a woman as an object of desire. We go to such lengths to adorn ourselves that we almost become our clothes or are taken over by them. This is a collection about excess - an exploration of ideals of beauty at their most extreme." - Sarah Burton, Creative Director of Alexander McQueen

I found this video on one of my new favorite blogs (FuckSexWeJustWantClothes) and thought it was amazing. Many people don't like Sarah Burton for McQueen, but I think the clothes she makes are beyond gorgeous. This has to be one of my favorite collections from her so far and all I want to do is sit here and watch the video over and over again.

The Long and Short of It.

I've always been a "dresses or skirts" girl. Never one for shorts. But I've been finding so much shorts inspiration lately, I'm thinking we might be able to work things out this summer. If mother nature ever cooperates, that is.

College Fashionista.

Hi lovelies! Something a little different today. Besides this blog and my Tumblr, I write for a college street-style website called CollegeFashionista. They have Style Gurus all over the USA at different colleges scouting out stylish students and inspirational fashion. My posts go up every Wednesday and I'm going to start posting the links on here so you can go read them! Even if you don't like my specific posts, read some others. They have all sorts of topics such as How-To, Beauty, Workout Fashion and Fashion from Abroad. Honestly, I find inspiration on CF daily...street-style is so much fun!
Here is a little preview of today's post. Head over to CollegeFashionista to read the rest of it! Make sure you click "Like" at the bottom of the post, tweet the link, comment on it. I love the feedback guys!

Warehouse Fashion.

 (Jacket-F21, Shirt-Thrifted, Pants-Gap, Boots-Gabriel Brothers, Both Necklaces Gifted)
Hi world. I know it's been way too long. I am just in such a blogging rut that I need to get out of! As the bipolar weather in Ohio starts to get warmer, I'm getting more and more ready insanely pumped for spring this year. That has been giving me some actual outfit inspiration. That and my new obsession with the Man Repeller. (I don't know why I fought it for so long, I should have jumped on her bandwagon forever ago. You should too, actually. Go read it immediately after you read this. Seriously. Go.) Normal active blogging shall resume soon.
These pants are my first pair of grown-up pants. Cropped, slim, olive green trousers from the Gap (bought on Cyber Monday for $15! How could I say no?!) I finally wore them a few weeks ago...and let's just say I am obsessed. I love them with everything from a benton striped top and military boots, to bright blouses and furry wedges. I cannot get enough. So I apologize in advance if you get sick of seeing these babies on StudyingInHeels. I hope you can forgive me. :)

Knot Your Average Ring.

(Shirt, Sweater, Head Scarf-F21, Jewelry-Etsy, DIY, Charming Charlie, Jeans-Delias)
When I got dressed, I unknowingly paid homage to Forever21. I guess that happens sometimes when you get dressed as you're running out the door. The big stone ring is one of my favorites now-I feel very "MK Olsen" when I wear all of my huge rings. And the knot ring was purchased on Etsy after a fellow blogger posted about the new trend (I can't remember who it was so if you do, let me know!). I've been wearing it nonstop-I love that it's almost unnoticeable.

PS-My hair was inspired by this picture. Basically braid random chunks, knot up with a scarf, and throw in some bobbypins. Taa-Daaa!
Yes, I'm addicted to Pinterest. Yes you should follow me:).

Obsession.

If I could wear fur of some sort every single day, I would. And even though that seems slightly ridiculous, isn't fashion always?
Some of my inspiration from Pinterest.
